Michael Abboud joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2003 after obtaining his MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Tulsa. He graduated with academic honors as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
Before this, Michael performed neuroscience research at the W.K. Warren Medical Research Foundation where he was published and awarded for his research efforts.
He holds the chartered financial analyst designation and is a member of the CFA society of Oklahoma.
A native of Tulsa, Michael also earned his bachelor’s degree from TU and is a member of the board of directors for Leadership Tulsa.
Jim Arens, Chief Investment Officer and member of our board of directors, joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 1997 after working with KPMG Peat Marwick as a manager in the strategic services consulting group.
Jim earned his bachelor’s in finance and accounting from Southern Methodist University and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is past president of the CFA Society of Oklahoma and is active in the CFA Institute. He currently serves on the Global Disciplinary Review Committee for the CFA Institute.
Actively involved in the community, Jim currently serves on Tulsa's Gilcrease Museum National Board, as president of the University of Tulsa Friends of Finance Board and on the advisory committee for the University of Texas and University of Tulsa Student Investment Fund. He is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) in Tulsa.
In the past, Jim has served as an adjunct finance professor at the University of Tulsa and as vice chairman of the board of trustees at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. He is a graduate of the Leadership Oklahoma program.
Mike Bartel has over 35 years of experience in trusts, estate planning, investments and banking.
Prior to joining Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2002, Mike was at Bank One, Chase/JP Morgan for 15 years.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and has completed the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. He also holds several NASD registrations.
Mike is a member of the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum where he has served as secretary and director. He also has served as president and board director of both the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club and the Family and Children’s Services.
Jim Bloomfield manages the Trust Company of Oklahoma's Real Estate Division. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and brings more than 20 years of experience in business management and marketing in both retail and building trades to our company.
Jim joined TCO in January 2001 as an assistant vice president in the Real Estate Division. He was promoted to vice president shortly after joining the company.
A native Tulsan, Jim attended the University of Oklahoma. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Oklahoma Association of Realtors as well as the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors.
With over 35 years in retirement planning and over 28 years with Trust Company of Oklahoma, Tim Breedlove brings a wealth of experience to our clients as he works on retirement plan consulting and trust administration, including plan installation, employee record keeping and the technical aspects of plan administration and design.
Before joining TCO in 1985, Tim worked as a special agent for the Office of the Inspector General, a revenue agent with the Internal Revenue Service and a pension supervisor at both Mutual Benefit Life and Massachusetts Mutual Life. He is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.
A native of Tulsa, Tim is a graduate of Northeastern A&M Junior College and Northeastern State University.
Vicky Brown joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in July 2007 as a Benefit Plan Compliance Associate in the Retirement Plan Services division. She was then promoted to trust officer in December 2012. Her responsibilities include compliance, client and participant reporting, ERISA regulated testing and tax reporting for employee benefit plans.
Prior to joining The Trust Company of Oklahoma, Vicky worked in property management and construction accounting for 15 years at American Residential Group, GBR Properties and Leinbach Company.
A native of Oklahoma, Vicky continues to update her education and is currently working on earning her Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. She has been a member of the Tulsa Employee Benefits Group since 2007.
Ben Byers joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2012 as a senior vice president in our Oklahoma City office. He has over 35 years experience in the trust and investment business.
Ben came to Trust Company of Oklahoma from Heritage Trust Company where he was a senior vice president and trust officer. Prior to that, Ben was a personal trust manager with Bank of Oklahoma.
Ben earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Oklahoma in 1973. In addition, Ben is a Leadership Oklahoma City Class IV graduate.
Active in the community, Ben currently serves on the Salvation Army Advisory Council and the INTEGRIS Foundations Planned Giving Council. Additionally, he is president of the Delta Tau Delta House Corporation at the University of Oklahoma. He is also a member of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council.
In the past, Ben served as president of the Catholic Foundation, Western Plains Division and Arch Chapter member of Delta Tau Delta international fraternity. He has been involved with various boards including Oklahoma City All Sports Association, Rebuilding Together, Parents Assistance Center and Boys & Girls Club.
Debi Combs has been with Trust Company of Oklahoma for over 20 years, joining the company in 1989. She is responsible for compliance, client and participant reporting, ERISA regulated testing and tax reporting for employee benefit plans.
Debi began her career at Utica National Bank in 1983, working both in the energy and trust departments. While there, she was a trust officer, manager of trust operations, and worked with retirement plans.
Debi is enrolled to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA). She also holds the Qualified Pension Administration (QPA) and Qualified 401(K) Administrator (QKA) designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. She has been a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries since 2004 and a member of the Tulsa Employee Benefits Group since 1995, having previously served on their steering committee.
Lesa Creveling has been with Trust Company of Oklahoma for over 10 years, joining us in 1999.
Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1987, she also holds a bachelor’s and law degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.
Before joining TCO, Lesa practiced law in the private sector, concentrating on estate planning, taxation and probate.
She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association and the Tulsa Title and Probate Lawyers Association.
Lesa has served as president of both the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum and Metro Christian Academy Foundation. She also served as an officer of the Oklahoma Bar Association Estate Planning, Probate and Trust section.
Shawn Crisp joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2011 and serves as our corporate compliance officer.
A native of Oklahoma, Shawn came to TCO from Stanfield & O’Dell, P.C. where he was senior auditor who specialized in financial institutions as well as architecture and engineering firms. Prior to that, Shawn worked for IBM’s business transformation outsourcing department.
He earned both his BSBA and MBA from the University of Tulsa in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Graduating magna cum laude, Shawn was recognized as the Outstanding Marketing Graduate of the 2006-07 graduating class.
Shawn is a Certified Public Accountant Accredited in Business Valuation. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Rotaract Club of Tulsa (Downtown).
Dana Davis joined the Trust Company of Oklahoma in 1991 serving in the operations division. She was promoted to trust officer in 1995, assistant vice president in 2005, and vice president in 2007. She currently oversees the Retirement Plan Services Operation Group; keeping record of contributions, loan transactions, distributions and reallocations for employee benefit plans.
A Tulsa native, Dana has more than 30 years of experience in the trust and banking industry. Prior to joining TCO she was with Bank of Oklahoma for 11 years in the finance department and investment operations.
Karen Ellis has over 33 years of trust experience, 20 of those focusing on all aspects of retirement plans.
She joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in April 2008 as vice president in the Retirement Plan Services Division. She was then promoted to Senior Vice President and manager of the Retirement Plan Services Division in 2012. A Tulsa native, Karen came to TCO from Bank of Oklahoma where she was vice president and trust officer.
Karen holds the Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and the Certified Retirement Services Professional designation.
Karen is a member of the Tulsa Employee Benefits Group. She has served on the steering committee of this organization in the past. Karen is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa Class 41. She is also Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Counseling & Behavioral Services of Oklahoma, Inc. a not-for-profit agency dedicated to behavioral health and substance abuse services.
Paul Giehm joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2002 as a senior vice president in the Personal Trust Division. He has over 30 years experience in the banking and trust business.
Paul came to TCO from Bank One where he was a senior vice president and state market business manager for private client services.
Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, Paul earned his bachelor’s degree from Morningside College in Sioux City.
He is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and has held several NASD registrations.
Michael Hairston has been in the trust industry for 30 years, 15 of those with Trust Company of Oklahoma.
Before joining TCO, he served as vice president of the private financial services group of the Bank of Oklahoma. Prior to this, he managed the personal trust division at Valley Bank and Trust Company in Salt Lake City, Utah. Michael began his trust career in 1981 with Utica National Bank and Trust Company.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Oklahoma State University and completed the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.
Michael has been designated a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor by the Institute of Certified Bankers. He is a former director and president of the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum and former director of the Green Country Council Camp Fire USA. Michael is also a member of the Rotary Club of Tulsa, where he is a Paul Harris Fellow and a Club Foundation Fellow.
Paul Kallenberger has been serving individuals, families and foundations for over four decades with his special concern for their financial success. He is a director of Trust Company of Oklahoma and manages our Utica office.
He began his trust banking career in 1966 at a major Tulsa bank. Paul's expertise has a focus on implementation of estate and financial plans for families and the administration of foundation and charitable trusts.
Paul earned a Bachelor in Business Administration at the University of Oklahoma and his degree of Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa. He is a member of the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations. He was vice-chair of the Oklahoma Bar Association's Uniform Laws Committee (2004-2005).
In 1991, he was awarded the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor by the Institute of Certified Bankers and is a member and past officer of the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum. He is a trustee of the Patti Johnson Wilson Foundation and the Karl F. and June S. Martin Family Foundation.
Jean Kates joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in March 2011 as an administrative assistant and was promoted to trust officer in 2012.
With over 15 years of banking experience, Jean came to Trust Company of Oklahoma from Arvest Bank where she served as a bank officer in the credit analyst department.
A native of Canute, Oklahoma, Jean earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Central Oklahoma. Continuing her education, Jean has successfully completed level one of three in the prestigious Cannon Trust School.
Active in the community, Jean is currently involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Rhonda Kerr has been with Trust Company of Oklahoma for 10 years, joining TCO in 2001. She is a Assistant Vice President in our Oil and Gas Section of the Operations Division. Rhonda has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas business.
Her prior experience in the oil and gas business includes stints with Helmerich & Payne, Inc., Agate Petroleum, Inc., Gothic Production and Amoco.
Rhonda is a native Tulsan who attended Nathan Hale High School and majored in accounting at Northeastern Oklahoma in Miami.
Kathy King has over 30 years experience in trust administration. A long-time employee, she joined the Trust Company of Oklahoma in 1985 and was promoted to vice president in 2001.
A native of Okmulgee, Okla., Kathy attended the Cannon Trust School and currently serves on the board for the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum.
Stacie Kuykendall has been with Trust Company of Oklahoma for over 20 years, joining TCO in 1989 when F&M Bank and Trust Company purchased Utica National Bank and Trust Company.
After serving as executive secretary and corporate administration officer, Stacie was promoted to assistant vice president in 2008. She began her career with TCO in the Trust Operations Department.
She has been in banking since 1979. In addition to her position at TCO, Stacie has worked at Union National Bank, Guaranty National Bank and Utica National Bank and Trust Company.
Dave Mason has worked in the Retirement Plan Services Division at Trust Company of Oklahoma since 2002.
Before joining the company, Dave was with Tax and Accounting Software Corporation for nine years, serving the last seven as supervisor of database information services. Prior to his stint at TAASC, Dave was a corporate accountant for Brumbaugh and Fulton Mortgage Bankers.
He is a certified public accountant with a degree in accounting from Langston University and a degree in theology from Oral Roberts University.
Jennifer May joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2002 as an administrative assistant. She was promoted to trust officer in 2008. Jennifer earned the well-deserved promotion to Assistant Vice President in 2011. With almost 20 years of banking experience, Jennifer came to TCO from Bank of Oklahoma where she worked in the Institutional and Employee Benefits department.
A native of Tulsa, Okla., Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and marketing from Oklahoma State University and is a graduate of Cannon Trust School.
She is a member of the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum and is actively involved in Tulsa Street School.
Bob McCormick, chief operating officer and member of our board of directors, has been an investment manager with Trust Company of Oklahoma since 1992.
Before joining TCO, Bob served as vice president of trust investments at a former financial institution. Prior to this, he worked as a securities analyst with a St. Louis brokerage firm.
He earned both his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and an MBA from Oklahoma State University.
Bob holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is past president of the Oklahoma Society of Financial Analysts. He has previously been active in the CFA Institute and was an adjunct professor at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa.
He is a founding board member of the San Miguel School of Tulsa and currently serves on the board of directors for the Tulsa Press Club.
Jim McKinney has been with Trust Company of Oklahoma for more than 30 years, joining the company in 1981. He was elected to our board of directors in 1990, and also serves as corporate secretary.
Before joining Trust Company, Jim served in the U.S. Air Force, practiced law in the private sector and was vice president in personal trust at both the Bank of Commerce and Bank of Oklahoma in Tulsa.
He holds both an undergraduate degree in business administration and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Tulsa.
A member of the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations, Jim has served on the board of trustees and as president of the official board at First Christian Church. He has also served as a trustee of the Wheeling Avenue Trust, a charitable trust benefiting numerous civic and religious organizations.
Jim is a member of the board of the TU Law School Alumni Association.
Julissa Medina joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in April 2013 as an assistant vice president in the employee benefits group. She is responsible for compliance, client and participant reporting, ERISA regulated testing and tax reporting for employee benefit plans.
Before joining TCO, Julissa served as a human resources consultant for ONEOK. Prior to her employment with ONEOK, she was a human resources business partner with Community Care HMO.
Earning her bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas, Julissa majored in political science and Spanish with a minor in French. She then earned her master's in public administration from the University of Oklahoma.
Julissa is a certified human resource professional and is a member of the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.
As assistant vice president in the Muskogee office, Janet Metzger manages personal trusts, agencies and guardianship accounts.
She joined Trust Company of Oklahoma when we opened our Muskogee office in June 1981.
A native of Muskogee, Janet continually updates her education with banking and trust classes.
Although she’s been with us for 30 years, Janet spent three years at First National Bank in Muskogee before her tenure at TCO.
Joanna Murphy brought a broad range of experience when she joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in August 2010 as vice president and trust officer in our Utica Office.
Before coming to us, Joanna had the opportunity to administer a variety of both domestic and international trusts and estates during her seven years as a trust and estate officer for Citigroup in both New York and Zurich, Switzerland. She has developed a special interest in estate settlement and working with families through these transitions.
A native Oklahoman, Joanna attended the University of Missouri and graduated with her B.S. Ed. in Special Education. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa and her LL.M. in taxation from Washington University in St. Louis.
She is a member of the Oklahoma and Missouri bars, the Tulsa County Bar Association and the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum.
Jamie O’Shields joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2012 where she serves as Assistant Vice President.
A native of Oklahoma, Jamie came to TCO after founding her private legal practice, where she specialized in estate planning for high net worth families. Prior to that, she worked as an associate attorney for The Law Office of Jim Klepper and coached high school basketball.
Jamie played varsity basketball for Oklahoma University while she worked towards earning her BBA in 2001. She graduated with honors from OU with her Juris Doctor in 2006. Continuing her education at the University of Central Oklahoma, Jamie earned her MBA with honors and was awarded the UCO Outstanding MBA Student Award in 2010 for graduating number one in her class.
Jamie currently serves as a tutor at Whiz Kids of OKC where she teaches reading and math skills to underprivileged inner city students.
Karen Perkins manages the Operations Division with more than 25 years experience in bank operations. She has been with Trust Company of Oklahoma since 1997.
An Oklahoma native, Karen worked as vice president and cashier at First Bank of Owasso and senior vice president and controller for Woodland Bank in Tulsa before joining Trust Company.
She attended Graduate School of Banking at both the University of Wisconsin and the University of Tulsa and has been active in the Bank Administration Institute, Financial Women International and the Oklahoma Bankers Association.
Darla Read joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in June 1989. She was promoted from trust officer to assistant vice president in 1999.
With over 20 years experience in employee benefits Darla serves in the Retirement Plan Services Division. She specializes in participant loans, participant benefit distributions and participant communication.
Darla is a member of the Tulsa Employee Benefits Group.
Corey Redington joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2008. He is currently serving as our Retirement Planning and Investment Review Analyst, as well as, our newest Investment Manager. Prior to joining TCO, Corey spent 4 years as an account executive at Wells Fargo.
A native to the Tulsa area, he earned a BSB in Economics from Oklahoma City University in 2003. He received his MBA from the University of Tulsa in 2007, where he was awarded honors in both the Oklahoma Governor's Cup and the Tulsa Spirit Awards for entrepreneurship. In continuing his education, Corey is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Zac Reynolds joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2012, where he serves as vice president in the investment division.
Before joining TCO, Zac worked at Heritage Trust Company, where he spent four years as an investment analyst and portfolio manager.
A native of Oklahoma, Zac earned his MBA from Oklahoma City University and his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Oklahoma State University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Oklahoma.
Zac was a two-time letter winner on the OSU men’s golf team (2004-2005). He was also a two-time AJGA Polo Junior Golf All-American (2002-2003), a 2002 U.S. Junior Amateur Runner-Up, and is a member of the Edmond Junior Golf Hall of Fame.
Active in the community, Zac has served for several years as a volunteer for the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts, and currently serves as co-chair for the McBride Foundation Golf Championship.
Raylene Rogers joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2006 as an assistant vice president and serves as manager of our oil and gas division.
Raylene is a landman with more than 20 years of experience in title curative, leases and assignments. She is well-versed in legal compliance documentation and oil and gas lease negotiation and acquisition.
She is a member of the Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen and the American Association of Professional Landmen.
As Trust Company of Oklahoma's securities trader, Linda Rollins processes all the trades for our clients, ensuring that trades are executed quickly and with minimal cost. She also makes sure trade settlements happen in a timely and correct manner.
In addition to handling the trading function for the investment managers, Linda also works one-on-one with many clients who direct their own investments to ensure their trading activity is handled quickly and properly.
Linda has 25 years of banking experience. She joined Trust Company in 1998 in the Operations Division and moved to the Investments Division in 1999. Before this, she worked at other financial institutions as an officer in bank operations.
Jan Sommers joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2000 as a trust officer. With over 20 years experience in various capacities of trust operations, Jan manages our Operations department. She is responsible for overseeing the securities settlement process, as well as all incoming new account relationships. In addition, she takes care of the cash and accounting for client services and client tax reporting.
A Tulsa native, Jan came to TCO from AmeriTrust where her primary focus was in Investment operations. Her banking career began at First National Bank and Trust Company of Tulsa, where she specialized in trust operations.
David Stanley, manager of the Oklahoma City Region and member of our board of directors, joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2011.
David came to TCO from Arvest Bank where he was senior vice president, senior regional investment officer and trust location manager for the Norman, Oklahoma City and Shawnee locations Prior to that David was a senior vice president and trust officer for Amarillo National Bank for over fifteen years.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of North Texas and is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School held at Northwestern University. He is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor as well as a certified wealth strategist practitioner.
Actively involved in the community, David serves as president of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Board and is a member of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council.
Melissa Taylor joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in April 2013 as vice president and trust officer where she specializes in client trust and estate needs.
Prior to joining Trust Company, Melissa practiced tax law, probate administration, trust and estate planning and employee benefits law at GableGotwals.
Melissa graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with degrees in letters and classics. She then taught Latin for five years before earning her law degree from the University of Tulsa where she was recognized as "Most Outstanding Student". Continuing her education, she went on to earn her LL.M in taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Melissa is a member of the Tulsa County, Oklahoma, and American Bar Associations as well as Tulsa Estate Planning Forum. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Family Safety Center and volunteers with the Tulsa Area United Way. She is also a Class 49 member in Leadership Tulsa.
Ed Thornley joined Trust Company of Oklahoma in 1981 and currently manages our Muskogee office. He has many years of experience and extensive knowledge working with farm and ranch management.
Majoring in management, marketing and finance, Ed earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University.
A native of Evergreen, Alabama, Ed began his banking career with Pioneer Bank in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Before he joined TCO, Ed worked in personal trust administration for eight years with the First National Bank and Trust Company of Muskogee.
Ed has served as past president and director of the Okmulgee Cattlemen’s Association.
Cameron serves as senior vice president and senior portfolio manager in our Oklahoma City office. He’s been with Trust Company of Oklahoma since 2004.
Raised in Blackwell, Okla., Cameron is a Summa cum Laude graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. Additionally, Cameron holds the Certified Financial Analyst designation and is a certified public accountant.
Before joining TCO, Cameron was a portfolio manager and senior analyst for Adams Hall Investment Management.
Cameron is actively involved in the Oklahoma City community. He has served on the board of directors and as the finance and investment committee chair for the Magic Empire Council of the Girl Scouts as well as the board of directors for the Community Food Bank. He is an active member of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council.
Tom Wilkins was named chairman of the board of Trust Company of Oklahoma in 2005. Prior to this, Tom served as president and chief executive officer (1998-2005) and executive vice president and chief operating officer (1996-1998).
Before joining TCO in 1990, Tom was vice president and manager of trust, corporate and investment operations for BancOklahoma Trust Company. Before this, he was with Commerce Bank of Kansas City.
A native of Kansas City, Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University, majoring in finance and accounting. He is a certified public accountant in both Oklahoma and Missouri. In addition, he has earned several securities licenses from the National Association of Securities dealers.
Tom is a current member of the Tulsa Executives Association and a former board member of the Association of Independent Trust Companies, a national service organization for trust companies. He is also a former board member of the Tulsa Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
